How long will it take to process my taxes?

Once your taxes have been submitted the IRS has 21 days to process your tax return.


Do you offer services after April 15th?

Yes, we are open year round to assist you with any tax issues you may encounter. The hours of operation will change during the off season.


I’m a parent who has a child who worked this tax year, can I still claim them as a dependent?

If the child is filing their own tax return they can not be claimed as a dependent.


What is a dependent?

A dependent is anyone younger than 19 years old or a student younger than 24 years old. There is no age limit if your child is permanently or totally disabled.


I’m self employed can I file taxes?

Yes, self employed clients are able to file a tax return.


What filing status should I use if me and my partner use the same address?

This is a case by case scenario and it depends on multiple things such as are you married, if so are you filing separately, who keeps up the home etc. Please give us a call so we can discuss the best filing status for you.


I do not have direct deposit can I receive a check?

Yes, you can receive a check if you do not have direct deposit.


My w-2 for a job I had earlier this year just came in the mail. Do I need to file it? It was only for $700.

Yes, any income over $600 is considered a taxable income and must be filed with the IRS.


How do I check the status of my tax return?

Please use the where’s my refund website to check the status of your return.


Can a mother and father carry their child on the same tax year if they both contributed to the child? 

Unfortunately, only one parent can claim the child per tax year unless it falls under the tie breaker rules. (Please call to discuss. Tie breaker rules are based on different scenarios)


I want to file my taxes for this year, but I did not file my taxes last year? 

We will need to file both years in order for you to know if you will receive a possible refund.
